To make matters worse, when quizzed about it, he said Ghanaians complain too much. However under the NDC the ongoing construction of 123 Community Day Senior High Schools across the country will provide space for the admission of about 400,000 additional students who would have been out of school.

People should understand that soldiers are not politicians, they do their work as being commanded. The fact that he was Kufuor's ADC does not make him otherwise as people are suggesting. Just like any other civil servants they are supposed to be neutral in discharging their duties, so Mahama has not done anything out of the ordinary.

Maj. Gen Obed Akwa. It does not mean a thing. It is self gratification to absolve himself from the on going web of corruption scandal that has engulfed him Mahama. Evans Santrofie on the other hand should have risen far than he is now. Evans is nearing his retiring age, a good friend of yours truly from post secondary days where we parted ways and he went on to the Military Academy. Again being Kufour's AD Camp, Maj. gen Akwa does not qualify one to be appointed Chief of Army staff. The General qualified to be appointed to his present position based on merit and not by cronyism. Give us a break. Its too late for Mahama to be acting like president. He can not reverse all the negative impressions the international diplomatic community and Ghanaians have about him; vis-vis, he being the lead corrupt guy in politics now, the theft, loot and corporate cronyism, nepotism, inefficiencies in public accounts and the sale of icon national items to themselves and his front men.
mahama had no respect for the constitution and became at best close to being a facist - bypassing parliament, Council of State and arresting opponents and jailing them through Baba Kamara/BNI.
For all those praising Mahama for promoting the Akans and the Ga man, Evans, for every majority person promoted, he penciled down two northerners. Check the list and don't be deceived. Hey Evans, congrats by the way for your well deserving rise to the Vice Air Marshal of the Ghana Airforce. No one respect Ghana under this leadership.

There's no need to commend him. There's discipline in the military unlike the the other security services and therefore he could not usurp the authority of the military high command by appointing someone else.
