The IEA from the onset has proven to be an appendage of the NPP, and by their actions, they have proven to be and will do all it takes to support the cause of the NPP in all regards.

There are some of the reasons for the postponement.

The IEA wants to help the NPP to be able to put together a manifesto. Reliable sources have mentioned that the NPP and its core team of manifesto developers are struggling to put feasible ideas on paper. This just confirms this obvious allegation.

If there's no debate, why should he use a platform that is confined with a moderator to speak on subject matter which has already hit the headlines? If the IEA needs answers to Nana's policies, they should wait for the party's manifesto which is a record for the public. If the president John Dramani Mahama and the NDC decides to back out from the encounter I do agree absolutely. The policies of the NDC is outlined in budget statements, ministries, etc.. IEA shd give us a break.
