I was a witness once when Rawlings drove around in his sports car around a neighborhood in Accra. The people who cheered as he drove around were standing around with no shoes on whilst praising and cheering on someone who they think deserves all that he owns. If 7 out of 10 think the country is not going in the right direction, that will be a surprise. These are people ready to vote on issues and not on personalities.
