  Whether or not it will kill president mahama ambition is not the case. The common sense is that it will weaken the judiciary and promote crime. If the judges can not sentence people to prison for threatening their lives and disrespecting the court, similar threats against the president, ministers will mean nothing again in Ghana's constitution. Not to talk of threats against ordinary citizen. After this pardon, what it means is that if someone threatens to kill Omane Boama and is sued the court will have no option than to throw the case out on grounds of free speech. Is that the kind of court we will want to have? That is exactly the concerns of liberal nonpolitical minds of Ghana as far as this issue is concern. Wise people will just allow the three to serve their terms. This is not the first time the court has given a sentence but on no occasion has anyone complain that it is harsh. Let us not set a precedent that we will not like repeated when it is not in favours the other side. It is important that we take reason from the stance of Tony Lithur and co...to avoid a situation where posterity will judge our present decisions as reckless when they have the opportunity to scrutinize the past.

What you said means you have no idea about how the constitution is set up so I'll even advice you to be quite about this issue which is being discussed,ok? Please let someone, an educated mind ,educate you about how in every country, we have what is called the constitution, the Executive, legislative and the Judiciary, ok? Let someone talk to you about the rule of law and what is called the separation of powers, ok?   For John Dramani Mahama to support and toy with the prospect of violence, rape and murder of Justices of the Supreme Court and High Court Judges in Ghana, in our democracy as preached by the Montie 3, without not even a whiff from him, took his already precariously failed political legacy of corruption, looting, mismanagement and propaganda to the edge, indeed to the brink.
  Entertaining a petition and toying with the insidious threat, plan and action of bloodshed and rape, violence and anarchy involving members of the judiciary was the final log, not, straw, the final log that buried his already failed leadership and governance of this country.
  The other side of the coin in this unfolding political drama is the sheer colossal cost to the NDC party. By his actions in gov't which has seen Ghana in the worst economic quagmire in over a decade, the Montie 3 conduct, actions and plans has served to make the NDC party the most unattractive, reckless, and irresponsible political organization ever in the history of this country, when the antecedents of the NDC party is considered.
  John Mahama has in one fell swoop collapsed a country, a political party and his career and it is legendary.

  If even with the sympathy votes from the death of Prof. Mills, the NDC and JDM won the 2012 elections by a squeaker, then with the worsening of the economy and the living conditions of Ghanaians and the heightened fury of the electorate towards the ruling govt, JDM will likely have to go to a second round of voting and probably lose. If he pardons the Montie 3, he worsens his electoral chances because the independent voters who will determine the second round voting will be upset by such a decision.
