my friends and i have been mobilizing like-minded people in our locality to raise awareness amongst residents to not litter the community with polythene bags, etc, and, to encourage persons going to buy food along the road to take their own bowls for the purpose in order to minimize the nuisance of polythene bags everywhere! the result is stunning, and the residents say we DESERVE to be acknowledged/recognised and rewarded. we were delighted when we heard this, but with f.f. antoh's new definition of "deserve", we realise that nothing is coming our way, after all! sad, that one loose talk can change time-tested meanings just in a stroke!
