For that reason, he wondered if the NPP had the moral right to accuse Mr John Mahama of using state resources to pay bribes and buy votes, when the outcome of its own polls was questionable".
Some of us have always known that the NPP strategy of labeling the President as corrupt was a strategy to hide their own massive corruption in their party. if there was ever a doubt, Chairman Wuntomi's aide has erased all that. Now we know NPP better.

There is a Yuroba proverb which goes like this: a settlement without strangers is of no consequence. Strangers develop a town.

In the past, our ancestors go all out to capture people from other tribal and ethnic groups to assimilate into their own communities. Ian Wallerstein, writing thereabout 1970, on the rise of tribalism and ethnic awareness in Africa among the educated class wondered about the change in African attitudes to those they considered now strangers, whereas in the past, their ancestors considered them as valuables to be rustled like cattle and incorporated in their households.

I would soon be in Ghana to see for myself whether Englishmen, Dutch and Americans are also involved in petty trading in Ghana. If they are, I'd be mightily proud and say to myself that, indeed, Ghana is developing again, just as under Nkrumah!

I know Nduom won't win but his sort of xenophobic statements must not be countenanced.
