  Ndoum, you are not the first to mention gold refinery because our late President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah built some refineries but instead of you reviving them when you were the leader of CPP, YOU tried to destroy the CPP and joined Kufuor and others and corrupt the nation with bribe and cheats before forming your so-called PPP which will be dead and finished after this election. You failed the nation and you will never become even an MP not to mention a President.

  The last time I checked, a refinery is being built at the airport (don't like the location though). How many gold refinery does Ghana need and should the government of Ghana own a refinery in this day and age?

  Kwame Nkrumah was putting up a gold refinery in Tarkwa (a suburb called Cyanide) before the greedy UP_NPP idiots connived with foreign powers to derail the great "African Renaissance".
  
  But that was those days, back in the 60s. In today's Ghana, I do expect that such a facility need not be own be the state. A private entity can run it and all the state has to do is ensure it collects her tax and use it judiciously, regulate the industry, and help create jobs for our people.
