And the tenor on both sides is that "We all do it...may the smartest win". We all remember how in the 2004 polls things did not go the way of the NDC and the NDC raised concerns. But not loudly and strongly enough like NPP and their TAKASHI way of doing things. Atta Mills held the angry NDC members in check who were so sure that the NDC had won the 2004 elections, and who had wanted to hit the streets and demonstrate massively and cause mayhem (remember 2012 and NPP supporters causing mayhem after losing??!!!???)after Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, had held an illegal Press Conference at the Castle Gardens and announced that the NPP had won the elections-leaving the EC with no choice than to toe that line. But it was a matter that was to be proven in court like with the 2012 Supreme court episode…but for District Assembly election that came up then in 2004 and the electoral commission decided to destroy some materials, the proof was in the electoral materials that the EC destroyed. So, NPP also is expert enough in rigging, only unfortunately they are not in power. A pity enough..that may be why Nana Addo is already crying foul. The kettle calling the pot black!!!

By making a claim of this nature, Akufo-Addo assumes, and wants the World to know, that he has already won the Elections before a single ballot is even cast. It is preposterous for him to assume that his win has already been sealed, and could only be stolen by whatever Party may emerge victorious, other his.
If he does not know, NPP could as well win the Elections with majority Parliamentary Seats and lose the Presidency. So, let the Akyem Mafia Don keep massaging his ego for the Presidency that may never be.
It is this kind of implied ordination of Akufo-Addo as the next President that irks many folks around the Nation. He has long been acting like he is the President by arranging for overseas meetings with foreign dignitaries around the World, and when he returns from a vacation or medical check-up abroad, he is welcomed with a walk on a red Carpet like the one and only acknowledged President of the country.
I am very worried that he could commit suicide if he were to fail winning this time around for sure. And he may well incite violence among us with this pre-planted notion of him having already won, or that there is no genuine way Mahama could win.
This is part of his "All die be die" manifesto and strategy. And folks must expose him as such.
With this kind of talk, he has already discounted any trust for the EC to do its work honestly. It is morally and ethically corrupt of him to impose such a burden on the EC to declare him victorious, no matter who really wins the Elections.
