They already said it, they don't know when a northerner will get to the presidency again so they can't afford to throw away Mahama or make a northerner one term president. Mr. Pratt your voter segmentation insight is on point but what I have a problem with is your conclusion that most people vote based on infrastructure development. As President Mahama correctly pointed out in 2008 people do not eat infrastructure? Are you saying the NPP Electorial win in 2000 was a fluke? And why was the NPP booted out? They did infrastructure just as the NDC before 2000 had infrastructure? At the end of the day " it is about the economy "! Majority of voters in 2016 can be segmented into , the unemployed youth, urban dwellers, rural farmers and the bazaar class ( petty traders) . Every one trades and the educated middle class. The state of the economy is the primary driver for vote decisions for a majority. Sure in the 1950&1960s infrastructure and educational opportunities for the children was a prime motivator but not 2016. It is about pocket book issues. It is not about life transformation. The day you come to realize governments are only best at wealth creating policies , that is when the citizens lives would be truly transformed!!
Well we will know if it is the economy or infrastructure after December 7, won't we?
