Like others, IMANI must not give an inch on all that wantonless, duplicative missions, positions, and titles. Its is all waste of resources in the making.

Rather bizarre, even as Akufo Addo operates as if he has a good Constitution he can depend on.

He doesn't. And as the lawyer, he ought to know.

And Frank Cudjoe must get this straight. His veiled comment: ....did we go or did we come....is very much loaded. It serves to tell the initiated, what has always been on his mind. The usual six months grace period for in coming governments, is missing in the Nana Akufo Addo's government era. It seems some characters are predisposed to pull the rug from under him, even before he is given a stool to sit on. The president must sit well, because there is a groundswell of persons, who have been denied the largess of state, ready to take vengeance on small issues of state. The positives will however, help to push our governance to higher heights.

But my advise is not to wish negative thoughts on who the people decided. If NPP fails, Ghana Fails. So be careful what you wish for.

Another constitutional loophole that needs to be plugged. All the Presidents under the 4th republic have taken advantage to create job for party men. We have to go back to the 1979 constitution. It had cap on the number of ministers to 30 and MPs could not be ministers. Rawlings gave us this bad constitution after overthrowing the 1979 constitution that had the safeguards to prevent the creation of this huge number of ministries which is a drain on the national purse. We do not have to leave it there. We need to cut down the number of MPs too.

I want all those monies to be used positively to equip hospitals, schools, colleges and universities to make teaching and learning interesting, equip police and arm them to the teeth to make their job safer. Nana must do that or some one else would in the next elections. A new day has arrived in the way we vote.

The National Security Ministry is seriously unnecessary, given the existing Ministries of Defence & Interior. If Hon Albert Ken Dapaah is seen as more competent then he coul have rather been given the Defence portfolio.

Please...even an uneducated person can figure something is not right. Yes, NPP won but it doesn't mean they can do worse than NDC. Winning doesnt give you the right to do anything you want which is what most of you on this platform seem to imply. We the citizens want a leaner government and for corruption to be reduced, instead we're making it easier for folks to steal. This is stupid. Just delegate the tasks to folks who know that industry or area and make them accountable to a Minister. You don't need the machinations of an entire Ministry for it to work.
