Madam Minister, make acquisition of passport easy and affordable. Weed out all agents and try to decentralize as much as possible. Another problem: In London, we are asked to get Ghanaian resident in UK as guarantors when applying for new passports or renew old ones by giving residential address, Ghana passport number, date of expiry of passport, etc. It is not possible because, strictly speaking, Ghanaians who live in UK are not residents but tourists. All original Ghanaians living in UK are British not Ghanaians and have no valid Ghanaian passports.

I also did mine this January and the neaerst I get is June 2017 two weeks after the passport expires.
They are just lazy bunch of useless staff occupying the space called consulate.
