Some of us prefer to see a government that is accountable to the people so, Nana be that president who is openly accountable to all Ghanaians despite their political affiliation.

Nana, if you can apply strict rule of law and make sure that the public purse if well protected, plus delivering on your promises, Ghanaians will give you another four years which will keep NDC in perpetual opposition leading the party to disintegrate. I choose not to vote in 2016 because I was tired of the lies from both sides. I decided to let my fellow citizen vote and respect their decision.

For once, life I did not care about who was going to win. As far as I was concerned it was a choice of choosing between the lesser of 2 evils.

I was all for Mahama wining when Atta Mills passed on. I liked Atta Mills as a person so hey I was biased you may say.

But the next best option Nana A-Addo was not a choice I wanted either.

For the first time in my life I wished Ghana had a strong third party. I would have voted from them.

The fact that Mahama and his people thought Ghanaians will vote him back in because of projects were beyond me.

People are well beyond that.

I want a government who ensures that my fellow citizen who lives in the village has the same health care resources as I do in the city.

I want a government who ensures, while children in the city continue with their studies on a rainy day, the child in the village does not run for shelter in the middle of classes because the only roof their classroom has is the canopy of the tree in the village square.

I want a government who will ensure that regardless of my political affliation, I will have the same resources and support as a citizen to dream and attain those dreams right here in Ghana.

I want a government who will ensure that my fellow citizens are not drowning in the sea chasing the American, Canadian, or an elusive European Dream. But rather we staying home and living our dreams, our Ghanaian Dreams.

I didn't not watch the swearing of my President....yes I said my president. I wasn't interested at the time. My father and siblings did.
I watched a summarised version. I was so inspired by his words. And I pray he keeps his words.
And yes I know BBC and some new oulets had a field day about him using words of other past presidents.
But the truth is at that moment he got my attention and cautioned trust.

Let's stop being petty about infrastructures. These don't matter.

I am 35 years old and have never voted. I was ready to vote Atta Mills for a 2nd Term. That would have been the first time I would have voted.

Should this government work in the favor of my fellow citizen I would be first in the queue to vote them back in
