NDC HAS MILKED GHANA DRY: NDC guys are crooks. The other time Dr Apaak, a presidential staffer under Mahama, came out to claim that an amount of $5.9M was rather the cost of the new Veep Mansion. Then NDC Deputy Minority leader, James Klutse Avedzi, also said the amount is $5.0M. Now the NDC General Secretary is saying the amount is $3.5M. It is only the NPP that has remained consistent with $13.9 so far. It appears the NDC is not saying the truth. They are doing this to defend Thief Mahama at all cost. However, pressure mounted on the NDC has forced Allotey Jacobs, the NDC chairman for Central Region to admit guilt. He stated on Peace Fm that the fresh document from Consar on the cost of the project brings finality to the controversy surrounding the cost, adding that contesting the cost is impossible.“With what has come from Consar Limited, it is difficult to defend this issue. They are on the job and what they have put out settles the controversy surrounding the cost of the project. If Consar themselves have put out this information, then what do I have to say…nothing.” IT IS ONLY THIEVES WHO WILL ALWAYS DEFEND THEIR FELLOW THIEF AT THE PERIL OF THEIR LIVES.

However, the proper thing to do in a democracy is to prove that he has committed a crime, that he "stole" the vehicles or acquired them through dubious or criminal means. He who alleges or charges must prove. You cannot seize the vehicles and then ask Kofi Adams to prove (by way of documentation)that they belong to him. That is not how it works in a democracy.
The process may be slow for us, but unlike the "abongo boys" days, due process is what we should all follow. Today it is Kofi Adams, tomorrow it could be us or our relatives.

After the event the subsequent govt could not account for all those cars and now that a govt is changed again, vehicles cannot be accounted for why?
Meanwhile if Ghanaians in the diaspora bring in their cars into Ghana, they are made to suffer high DUTIES and the Govt end up confiscating these vehicles and selling them below the Duties imposed on them.
