Anyone involved in defacing, changing, or covering up the chassis numbers must be prosecuted. And how were the vehicles registered at the DVLA when the chassis numbers had been tampered with? Again, these are very serious crimes of international magnitude that Ghanaians must be demand prosecution.

The issue at stake is serious security treat that needs to be address with serious approach how can one person seek to possess five land cruisers, the book value of that car is in the neighborhood of about $80,000 apiece so now if a 100 of these cars can not be accounted for, look at the amount of money involved. Now you hear the criminal NDC operatives treating this as just a hoax and creating perceptions that the new administration seeks to make a big deal out of nothing. Whilst the new administration seeks to balance its first budget with the kind of the anemic financial situation left by the looting gangs, l don't think the new administration has that much resources to import new fleet of cars to do their work. Also in country where some vital programs like the national health insurance is in such bad shape the priorities shouldn't be given to logistics if we have something keep us going for the mean time. So l guess the NDC guys perception that the government will just forget about this as just a status quo is wishful thinking.
