Those of you in NPP who were lame in thinking can now see categorically clear that your party is cheap and can be bought with money. Where was Samuel when donations were made to support your party in the previous years by real philanthropist? Where was he when water was distributed in the run up to the elections? Where was our astute lawyer when it was time to pay their party agents? Where was he when food to the various polling centers was solely sponsored by the true philanthropists? The weekly waterfalls, the payment of electricity bills and renewal of NHIS cards just to woo voters.
Nobody is against development. Even if it has to take Mugabe of Zimbabwe to come and add his quota to the developmental needs of Damongo, he's welcome. But to the extent that his actions will be a charade just so he gives a ten a take a million, somebody must have to speak for the people. Just go for the shito exactly where you bought the kenkey.
Is his brother too big for him to contest? Very big insult to the leadership and supporters of the NPP here in Damongo. The very learned but matured men and women in the NPP who have paid their dues and have contributed their sweat are being sidelined because they don't have money and power to control resources. They are not lawyers, they don't have big titles and big family names. So the politics of Damongo has got this far, where money, power and fame carry the day?
