In his statement " Paragraph 273 of the 2017 budget says principally that the government has allocated GH¢2.04 million for the procurement of five million improved coffee planting seedlings for free distribution to coffee farmers while in the 2016 budget, paragraph 405 also talked about government allocating GH¢2.0 million for the procurement of two million improved coffee planting seedlings for free distribution to coffee farmers."
Now divide NPP's GHC2.04 Million by 5 million seedlings and the answer is GHC 0.40 per coffee seedling. Then divide NDC's GHC 2,0 Million by 2 Million seedlings and the answer is GHC 1.00 per coffee seedling. Now the question is, Who is stealing from who. I don't really know the university that trained these NDC guys. Universities in Ghana are indeed useless.

The new government have pledged to Ghanaians of revamping the economy with numerous agendas which will create job for the teeming unemployed populace. I think all those agendas cannot be created and achieved without manpower supervision. Also in order that those envisage programs do not go into drains, the government need dedicated individuals to supervise them and make sure that its agenda yields fruitful results for the country.
You can run a country with 30 ministers and subordinates yet negative results may happen when corruption and other financial malpractices are at its ebb. However, if the head is not corrupt and stick to his message that "Public service is just service to the people and not a place to make fortune" then the Government's 110 appointees salary and fringe benefits will not in anyway drain the country's coffers.
The country is not broke as we perceive it but rather, corruption and financial vices have plunged the country into its state of financial mess. Lets question ourselves that if anyone of us speaking negative about this appointments had his/her name listed among these individuals, would he/she come and spill these negative comments? Hell no.
Folks, lets keep our fingers crossed for the time being to see how this young administration will deliver its goals. After all they have 4-years mandate and the constitution assign to that. Opposition is not the best place to be in governance, hence He-She (man) Asiedu-Nketia and his bed mates are taunting this new government with unnecessary comments. E&OE.
