Action Movement of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the former first lady, Lordina Mahama and the siblings of former President John Mahama of being the cause of NDC defeat in the 2016 elections. The spokesperson of the group, Kodzo Hamenya Keglo speaking at the Ghana International Press Centre said “while JM was preaching made in Ghana goods (such as shoes, batik and locally made clothes), the wife was doing the opposite by printing T Shirts from China which is a huge disappointment for Ghanaian printing companies.The 20 million pieces of T Shirts JM’s wife printed from China, could have been shared to party members to print them locally and would have created a lot of jobs for Ghanaians.”
JM’s brothers are the main reason why we lost the 2016 elections, collecting all contracts from Airport, Roads, Cocoa Board, GNPC, ECG , VRA, Ministry of Power and all major contracts in the country.“If you don’t see JM brothers, you cannot get a contract and if you see them, then you have to pay money before you get the contract, frustrating foreign contractors and companies by taking Ghanaian contractors for granted and creating enemies for the NDC party,”

In 2016 the story was different; the NPP was wide awake and policed the processes and so the NDC could not rig. It's that simple!!! What did they mean when they were all over the place claiming that they were in a comfortable lead???? They were waiting for the Charlotte Osei commission to pull the final trigger for them but the NPP guys blocked the system.It came as a shock to them.

This Kwesi Bothwey committee and all the hullabaloo about this and that are all much ado about nothing. I tell you they know why they lost; they are not the choice of the people; they have been stealing elctions since 1992 and NPP has always been complaining.

The 2012 election petition exposed a lot of the loopholes in the electoral processes and I think we have all leant our lessons. Going forward it's going to be very difficult for any political party to rig elections. Every party should make themselves attractive to the electorate to win their vote. We should not bank our hopes on malpractices and think we can win. it's over for those who think they can capitalize on electoral loopholes and rig elections; it's over!!!

Now he is begging prominent chiefs to intervene so that his "Opana" does not jail him and his greedy wife for their stinking corruption.
Advice to our new President : have the greedy couple tried and jailed if proved guilty, otherwise you present them and their corrupt Party ammunition against your Government and the NPP come the next elections. Their campaign song would be that they were falsely presented as corrupt persons in 2016 yet nothing was found against them by the Akufo Addo Government. Jail this thief and his corrupt family members, particularly his wife and brothers, to send a message that corruption does not pay !!!
