I was particularly happy when NPP won the election hoping that they will go the extra mile to do away with corruption and enrich our democracy but surprisingly, we are seeing the opposite. Look at the number of ministers, the activities of the party security people and many others. For the first time in my life AN OPEN COURT WAS ATTACKED! UNDER NANA AKUFFO ADDO, THE LAW MAN HIMSELF? I agree with both of the above comments as well as Mr Ampaw. That is why it saddens me when we come on this forum to be insulting each other. The people are the ones suffering not the politicians. I wrote to an MP in the U.K. Here regarding a certain matter and believe me he wrote back full of apologies with a promise to address my grievances and by God he did. I was so impressed. But in Ghana, politicians take the citizenry for granted and if you complain, then you are either NDC or NPP or whatever. That is beside the point. Why do they chase us when they need votes? Smh. Rant over.

Serving a country as a MP means you have the quality of mini leader in that you have the tentative listening skills and working on the concerns of your patch . This does not mean that you are representing your constituency to lord over them to your advantage. A good servant wait and works with their boss in this case the boss are the community . The MP should ask themselves does our community needs been addressed already or there are areas I need to improve upon to add to the credibility of our community. if any MP fails to acknowledge this then they have failed their community.
