I remember in the weeks running up to the 2016 general elections, the NDC were giving out their tainted largess to some voters; with the condition that they invoke some deities and swearing an oath to vote for the NDC looting gangs. Upon all these evil deeds and unscrupulous efforts, they lost the elections with such an astronomical margins beyond the conventional wisdom. So with the money, the rigging, and the propaganda; with which they approached the elections of 3016, and still had all their efforts proved futile, how are they going to recapture the power, now that there are going to be new voters and national identification cards : To close all their loopholes?

A free-thinking Ghanaian with logical thought processes and principled moral inner core or being could not explain, with a straight face, or engage in the things that are ongoing in Ghana under a President, Nana Akufo-Addo, a presumed lawyer, British-educated with a flair for promising all things to all people in society.
I will not stand here and argue against writing wrongs right but there is no self-respecting being with a knack for the truth who will ignore the rule of law and yet claim to want to hold others to laws governing bribery and corruption? The shame of it all is that the Afro-hair wearing British Ambassador to Ghana has chosen to stay silent in the face of evil and suppression of Ghanaians of different political belief just as long as the British get to play ball with an NPP government with colonial-era public administration practices that never gave a damn about human decency. Then of course we have a silent Suprene Court that would cause the arrest of the NDC 3 media personalities who dared to exercise their freedom of speech but seem to be comfortable with the law breaking and human rights violations of this NPP government. Is the Nana Akufo-Addo administration not depriving some Ghanaians of their liberties and pursuit of happiness or life as they are driven out of their jobs without cause? Is the Ghana Bar Association, the nickel and dime law professionals and the courts in agreement that government administrations do have inherent administrative rights to relieve civil servants of their work? Should such a stance not be applicable to the Justices on the Supreme Court who are civil servants and are employed via the political whims of one party preference or another? To listen to NPP's Obiri Boahen, a proud representative and of the Ashanti region is to understand the structures of a fraudulent NPP which calls itself a party of intellectuals.
