They bribed chiefs and others with vehicles, houses, mattresses etc but the folks took the bribes and looked the other way. 2. Also they felt they had Charlotte on their side to call the election for them but Charlotte found out that the tsunami was too overwhelming to present any lies. 3. The NPP outsmarted them by having a well planned and executed collation center. In conjunction with the many radio stations and media houses also broadcasting results in realtime it was difficult for EC to massage the numbers. You could tell from the body language of the EC office during their press conference during the night that they had been outwitted. The government should insist on a root cause analysis of the breakdown at the EC and publish the report.

Rawlings founded the DPP, and these three parties merged and formed the progressive alliance. The Idea of the name NDC is secret between Mr. Rawlings and his wife. You see a committed woman who loves her husband kept quiet and ceded the leadership of the party to her husband. This is not a secret most of the NDC founders know about this period.

It is a fact that Rawlings founded NDC and no greedy bastard can take it away from him.
I am very sure Alhaji Saani has a very short memory other wise he would have remember that NDC never existed until the emergence of Rawlings onto the scene.
This man sacrifice his life from the AFRC days through PNDC and finally NDC. Alhaji Saani should remember that Rawlings was the one who made most of the so called big wigs in the NDC what they are today. I am sure people like him should sit under Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi to learn more about how Rawlings started HIS NDC.
