Former President John Mahama has stated he will show the governing New Patriotic Party a better level of governance if he gets the opportunity to be President of Ghana again.
“The NPP will see the difference in governance when we return to power. We began with development projects, social and economic infrastructure leads to development. For every nation to prosper, you need roads, hospitals and schools, we began these."
He further went to on to say that, "We began constructing Community Day SHS to support the progressive free SHS but those schools have been abandoned by this government,” Mahama stated at the Agona East constituency in the Central region where he is currently campaigning for the mandate to lead the National Democratic Congress.
Mr. Mahama also noted he believes God played a part in his defeat in the 2016 elections so Ghanaians can appreciate the difference between him and the current administrators of the economy.
The former President will have to beat 10 others to secure the mantle to lead the NDC again in 2020.
He is being contested for the flagbearer slot by his former employees including Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, Sylvester Mensah.
