An Aide to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Andy Owusu has fired a shot at former President John Dramani Mahama saying Ghanaians are not ready for another regrettable history.
According to the spokesperson of Mr Bernard Antwi Bosiako, "discerning Ghanaians would never want the history of corruption, impunity, history of 'Dumsor', history of mismanagement of the economy, an era of create, loot and share".
Former President John Dramani Mahama says he wants to make history by becoming the first ex-president of Ghana to be re-elected into office.
“My brothers and sisters, I believe we can make history, and that is the history of the re-election of a person who was president before. It is a rare phenomenon,” he said.
However, speaking to newsmen in Kumasi, Mr Andy Owusu disagrees explaining the latter is "on a mission do a lot of damage to all sectors of the economy, continue the highest gross of incompetence and continue a great deal of corruption with impunity".
"Most Ghanaians, including myself least expected and even questioned why Mr. Mahama would want to undertake another quest to lead the NDC and even the country on such an unfortunate mark he left as a President".
