In a gesture of support for education and academic excellence, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, has sponsored a significant project for the University of Ghana Alumni Association.

The "Hotspot Comfort Zone" was launched on Friday, May 31st, 2024, with a sod-cutting ceremony attended by Hon. Magnus Kofi Amoatey and Lord Michael Baatuolkuu representing the Speaker.

This state-of-the-art facility will provide a conducive environment for students, alumni, and faculty to connect, share ideas, and explore opportunities

It will be a two-story building with a capacity to accommodate 60 people at a time, along with office space. The project, valued at GHC 1,734,806.86, is expected to be completed by mid-August, thanks to the Speaker's commitment to securing the necessary funds.

During the ceremony, Hon. Magnus Kofi Amoatey planted a sapling on behalf of the Speaker, symbolizing the commencement of the project and the Speaker’s commitment to the University of Ghana Alumni Association.

This initiative underscores the speaker’s dedication to supporting educational institutions and enhancing facilities that benefit the university community.
