Edward Asare earns second master’s degree, strengthens expertise in media and digital communications

Edward Asare, one of Ghana's most influential digital marketers and industry thought leaders, has added a new achievement to his extensive list of qualifications by graduating with a Master of Arts in Media and Digital Communication Management from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). This is his second master’s degree, building on his already impressive educational background.

Before earning his MA, Edward completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the University of Ghana, where he also earned his undergraduate degree in Economics with Information Studies. This comprehensive academic foundation, combined with his professional experience, has equipped him with a robust understanding of marketing dynamics, digital communication, and strategic business insights.

In addition to his educational accomplishments, Edward is an Associate Member of both the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana (IPR Ghana), and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG). His professional affiliations underscore his commitment to upholding industry standards in marketing and public relations, a commitment that has resonated through his work at UBA Ghana Ltd., where he currently serves as the Digital Marketer.

In this role, Edward has led several high-impact campaigns, promoting UBA’s products and services, such as UBA Connect and Africash, and contributing to the bank’s brand visibility across the region.

Beyond his role at UBA, Edward is a respected corporate trainer who has shared his expertise at numerous corporate events and universities. His sessions cover various topics, including content creation, digital transformation, and media management, making him a highly sought-after speaker and trainer in both academic and professional circles.
