GBfoods Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to unity, compassion, and community support with a courtesy visit to the National Chief Imam, His Eminence Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, during the holy month of Ramadan.

The delegation was warmly received by the Chief Imam and his council of elders, continuing the company’s longstanding relationship with the Muslim community.

During the interaction, the National Chief Imam emphasized the shared origin of all people and the importance of religious harmony. He noted that diversity should be a source of strength, fostering mutual respect and peace across communities.

Speaking during the visit, Marketing Director at GBfoods Ghana, Ewuraba Adusei, highlighted the significance of supporting communities during the holy month.

“Ramadan is a season that calls us to reflect deeply on our faith, generosity, and togetherness,” she said.

“Our visit to the Chief Imam reinforces our commitment to standing with the communities we operate in during moments that matter to them. At GBfoods Ghana, we remain dedicated to providing food products that bring nourishment and promote connection with families across the country.”

Throughout this holy month, it is humbling to know that our products have played a key role in the preparation of nutritious meals during Iftar and Suhoor meals that sustain faithful Muslims.

It is in this spirit of support and celebration that GBfoods Ghana presented its donation of various food items such as Gino Tomato Mix, Gino Jollof Tomato Seasoning Mix, Gino Pepper & Onion Tomato Seasoning Mix, Gino Hot Pepper Powder, Gino Curry Powder, Didi Shito and Jago Mayonnaise.

Yaa Bonah Danquah Darko, Media and Digital Manager, further emphasized the importance of nourishing meals during Ramadan and the key nutritional benefits of GBfoods Ghana’s range of products.

“We believe strongly in the need for quality food products that nourish families every day,” she said.

“This donation is a reflection of that goal. Our products are developed with care, ensuring they meet nutritional needs while respecting cultural and religious values. It matters to us that families can prepare wholesome meals that bring them together—especially during this sacred season.”

GBfoods Ghana also highlighted its ongoing Ramadan engagements, including shared meals and community initiatives designed to strengthen social bonds and reinforce unity.

The company expressed profound appreciation to the Office of the National Chief Imam for the warm hospitality extended to its delegation and noted that the openness and consistent welcome received over the years remain deeply valued.

As we end the holy month and in anticipation of the Eid-ul-Fitr festivities, Gbfoods Ghana wishes all its muslim consumers nationwide a joyous celebration, peace, health and prosperity to every household.
