The inability of the traditional communication system to provide high quality data access means the deployment of wireless data networks in Africa has experienced a significant increase. There is no doubt that a data wireless system presents a viable means of reaching the masses where the availability of communication infrastructure is either lacking or woefully inadequate in terms of performance and available throughput. IDN SAVA SERIES, implements a DSS 802.11b compliant broadband wireless solution, together with a host of Internet applications that drastically reduce deployment costs for a business' Internet infrastructure. IDN SAVA SERIES comes packaged in a compact 1U setup box, with a simple LED front panel display indicating system and link activities. Web based management interface functionality simplifies setup and configuration.

Using Broadband Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technology (DSS11), the IDN SAVA SERIES provides seamless wireless connectivity for both internet/intranet applications, using a 2.4GHz unlicensed frequency band, 11 channel options, Data rates of 1,2,5.5 and 11MB/s. Some of the advantages of the IDN SAVA SERIES include its low cost, no need for dedicated Internet Servers because SAVA includes both DNS service [active by default] and a proxy service.
