How it all started
It all began 14 years ago as a staff, in a small real estate agency, the dream of redefining the face of luxury real estate was conceived.
Richard Manor Donkor, a luxury real estate developer and founder of MD Holdings, the parent company with subsidiaries including Properties Portfolio Ghana Ltd and Marrita Construction Ltd (MCL Ghana), from a humble beginning learned the art and trade of property development, and with the diligent pursuit of his dream to redefine the luxury property development space, has set the pace with some unique luxury developments in prime areas within the heart of Accra, under MCL Ghana.
MCL Ghana is the construction and real estate development company through which Mr. Donkor drives his luxury property development plans. The company, with its experienced team, has developed some luxury residential properties that have all been sold out and is currently completing a health center, a magnificent church edifice, and other third-party residential projects.
The journey to luxury development commenced when he partnered with his Spanish friends to develop a couple of projects. Mr. Richard Manor Donkor moved on to start his first three bedrooms bungalow development at Spintex after his partners has left the shores of Ghana, and with time has evolved into the construction of Marrita Homes and Luther Court, all within East Legon enclaves.
Topaz Court – Latest Project
The latest luxury development of MCL Ghana is the Topaz Court, a 4-unit, four-bedroom story building located at East Legon. Topaz Court is the culmination of 14 years of hard work, research, and execution with finesse by Mr. Donkor and his team at MCL Ghana.
Each of these 4-bedroom luxury homes features spacious rooms, high ceilings, Italian doors, a spacious compound, a swimming pool, a security post, an automated gate, security fencing, and heavy glazing, essentially giving you a 5-star experience within a residential setting. Launch of Topaz Court
Topaz Court was launched on Friday 30th December 2022 and it's almost sold out. Attending the plush event were prominent personalities across various industries including Members of Parliament, construction and real estate moguls, engineering, oil and gas, academia, banking, etc.
There were also in attendance some notable ministers of God. The high-profile cocktail event included sod-cutting for the newly built homes, a tour of the rooms, a visual display of unique features of the homes, a photoshoot, and soothing jazz music from a saxophonist to entertain guests. Hosting this event was Lexis Bill of Multimedia Ghana, host of Drive Time with Lexis.

Our Future Plans
MCL Ghana has a line of luxury developments in its plan for 2023. From its own real estate development to third-party construction, the company, by the abled leadership of Mr. Richard Manor Donkor, is poised to take away the rarity of owning luxury homes in Ghana.
The next developments dubbed “Emerald Court “The Onyx” MD Towers to be located in the heart of East Airport, Roman Ridge and cantonments respectively will feature a 4-unit, four-bedroom duplex, 9 units town-homes and 40-unit mixed apartments offering potential buyers the opportunity to purchase a studio, 1-bed, and 2-bed apartments.
One thing is certain; these new developments will open to the Ghanaian luxury property development market, a new perspective on luxury development. The journey has only just begun.
