Mimi Duah shares experience with patrons at the Gutsy Women’s Conference

The National Deputy Women's Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP)Mimi Duah, has expressed her excitement about participating in this year’s The Gutsy Women’s Conference.

The maiden edition of the Gutsy Women’s Foundation Conference, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls, took place on March 28, 2024.

The conference, themed, ‘Inspiring Inclusion: The State of Today’s Woman’, was held at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana at 1 pm.

Interacting with the media after the event, Mimi Duah said “It was my greatest pleasure and honour sharing an excerpt of my life experience as an inspiration to my younger sisters gathered at the conference. ”

Mimi Duah told the participants not to give up on their dreams regardless of the challenges encountered.

She said challenges would always be there, however, with determination and tenacity of purpose coupled with self-discipline, their dreams are achievable.

According to her, this, she believes, would go a long way to impact the lives of many others who aspire to reach the highest level in all their endeavours.

She said as people navigate the complexities of today’s world, they should remember their strength lies in their diversity, “and as women, our power stems from our unity.”

According to her together through constant advocacy and awareness, one will always have the opportunity to shape a future where every woman, regardless of her background or identity, can thrive and fulfill her potential.

She expressed her appreciation to the organizational team led by Raynella Nana Yaa who is the CEO of the organization.

Also, she thanked the distinguished guests and speakers who made an impact with their life experiences.

She was optimistic that the participants would learn some valuable lessons from the inspiring stories told.
