NDC's Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang commits to education reform at Diaspora Forum

During the Diaspora Town Hall Forum and 2M2 Fundraising Launch on April 15, 2024, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, NDC's running mate, led discussions on crucial education reforms and diaspora engagement.

Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang clarified the NDC's stance on Free SHS, stressing the party's commitment to addressing program challenges through collaborative efforts. Plans for a stakeholders' conference within the first 100 days of office were announced to ensure sustainable solutions.

Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley, the Global President of the NDC Proforum, emphasized the indispensable role of diaspora members in politics and urged their active involvement in the upcoming December 7th elections.

Additionally, Mrs. Maame Efua Sakyi Aidoo Houadjeto announced the NDC's official recognition of the NDC Proforum, showcasing the diaspora's growing influence within the party.

Under the theme "Exploring and Harnessing the Potential of the Diaspora for Ghana's Economic and National Development," the event emphasized the significance of diaspora engagement in national progress.

Notable figures in attendance included Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, Former President John Dramani Mahama, Ambassador Sam Pee Yalley, Mr. Anold Appiah, Professor Joshua Alabi, Mr. Moses Klu Mensah, and Hon. Alex Segbefia, among others.

Their presence underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing Ghana's development agenda.
