The National Youth Authority wishes all youth in Africa, particularly in Ghana, a Happy African Youth Day.

This day is earmarked for the celebration of the incredible potential, creativity, and resilience of the youth of Ghana and Africa.

We note with satisfaction the creation of an enabling environment for enhanced youth participation and partnerships, as well as increased investments in the youth through interventions such as Free SHS, the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), YouStart, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) etc, which position Ghana's youth as globally competitive.

In commemoration of the 2023 African Youth Day, the Authority will host various stakeholders within the youth development ecosystem in a round table discussion under the theme “1 Million Next Level is Knocking: Youth-led Movements that Transcend Borders".

This reflects the Government's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and providing young people with the tools and opportunities needed to thrive in the business world to create our commonwealth.

The event is slated for Tuesday, November 7 at the AfCFTA Meeting Hall in Accra. Highlights include:

1. Entrepreneurship Training and Workshops

2. Access to Finance Forum

3. Fireside Chat with Successful Entrepreneurs

4. Launch of the Digital in Africa Report - HP/ UNDP ICPSD

5. Engagement with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM)
