Inspector philip kwaku perdison, stationed at the regional CID Accra has presented assorted items valued Ghc 15,000 to the Kadjebi District Police.

The items including gun thermometers are to help enhance the effort of the police in fighting covid 19.

Inspector Philip Kwaku Perdison a CID at the Accra Regional Command, who is also the chief of Asato under the stool name Odeifour Yebiawhe Amponsah Agyemang the second, surprised the Kadjebi District Police command with a support package to help in their their effort to contain the pandemic.

Items presented included 25 gallons of silky hand sanitizer, 25 gallons of liquid soap, ten veronica buckets, 300 foreign face masks, 150 pairs of hand gloves, 3 gun thermometers,10 parks of tissues, 2 two dozens of refill bottles sanitizers.

The Kadjebi District Police Commander, Superintendent Micheal Asiedu, was grateful to the police inspector and urged others to emulate the shining example.

Kadjebi district was among the first to record the covid 19 case in the Oti region, when some stowed away passengers were intercepted in the district capital, Kadjebi.

The region now has 24 cases out of the national total of 4,700 cases as at monday may 11.
