Old Achimotan rewards Achimota School NSMQ team

Members of the team from Achimota School for the just-ended National Science and Maths Quiz have been presented with brand-new UHD Smart TVs, refrigerators, and meal vouchers. The event took place on Friday, 3rd November 2023.

The presentation was in fulfillment of a promise made by a member of the 1993 Year Group of the Old Achimotans Association (OAA), Nii Ayi Hyde, and his Team.

Mr. Hyde stated that although the original promise was to give them the items should the School emerge as winners of the competition, he was still so impressed with the performance of the team that he decided to go ahead with the presentation.

In presenting the awards to the students, Mr. Hyde further informed the students that if they were to win the ultimate prize in the next event, he had a bigger surprise for them.

On their part, the students expressed their gratitude to Nii Ayi Hyde and his Team. The students were thankful for all the support they received from Mr. Hyde throughout the event. They assured him of their commitment to put in their very best next year to bring home the big prize.

The students were treated to a Business Excursion to Electromart, KFC Restaurant, and Somotex Consumer Electronics & Home Appliance Assembly Plant.

The day finished off with a Lunch Soiree with the Students at Buka African Restaurant.
