The Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road Central on 23rd February 2025, embarked on a visit to Berekuso, a rural community in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The club is currently constructing a modern healthcare facility in the community, aimed at improving access to quality healthcare services for the residents.

The visit, which was supported by the Rotaract Club of Ring Road Central, University of Ghana, provided an opportunity for the club members to assess the project's progress and interact with the community members.

The Rotaract Club also made a generous donation of buckets of paint to support the project's completion.

The healthcare facility, valued at over GH¢3,000,000.00 (Three Million Ghana Cedis), will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure, including consulting rooms, emergency services, maternity care, male and female wards, and modern toilet facilities.

Upon completion, the facility will significantly enhance the healthcare experience for the people of Berekuso and surrounding communities.

This project is a testament to the Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road Central's commitment to improving the lives of under-served communities in Ghana.

The club's dedication to providing quality healthcare, education, and economic empowerment aligns with Rotary International's global mission to promote peace, fight disease, and support community development.

The President of the Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road Central, Albert Bahun-Wilson stated that the Club is very close to delivering a state-of-the-Art Clinic to the Berekuso community.
