One of the best natural spice companies, Sankofa Spices, has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and boxes of Sankofa natural spices to the Stroke Unit at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra as part of the World Hypertension Day celebrations.

As a brand that truly cares, Sankofa Spices took advantage of World Hypertension Day to donate to the staff and patients of the Stroke Unit at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The items donated include a blood pressure monitor, glucose monitoring system, blood glucose test strips, and boxes of Sankofa Natural Spices.

Presenting the items to the Hospital, the Human Resource Manager, Kobina Amo Aidoo, said the donation is part of their efforts to promote healthy living through mindful eating habits. "We are donating to the stroke unit to support their important work with this apparatus."

Mr. Kobina Amo Aidoo mentioned that Sankofa natural spices are vested in the interest of healthy and natural eating habits. "Our spices are natural and devoid of any additives like salt, sugar, and monosodium glutamate," he added.

Deputy Chief Nursing Officer in charge of the stroke unit, Mrs. Monica Appiah, who received the items, applauded Sankofa Spices for their kind gesture. She mentioned they will continue to advocate for healthy eating habits to prevent future hypertension cases.

Mrs. Monica Appiah called on Ghanaians to eat right and avoid unhealthy eating habits to help reduce the number of active cases.

As a food company focused on producing healthier and relevant food, this gesture is in line with what the Company believes in and stands for.
