The 2026 Ga Homowo Health Walk has received a major boost after Bills Micro Credit Limited presented a GH¢350,000 sponsorship package to Team Okintinklan in support of this year's event.
The sponsorship package comprises cash, 5,000 branded event shirts, drinking water, beverages and other logistical support to facilitate the annual walk, which forms part of activities marking the Ga Homowo Festival.

He described the company's contribution as a demonstration of corporate commitment to community development and called on other organisations to partner with initiatives that promote public health and preserve Ghana's cultural traditions.
Nuumo Nikoi Amasah II announced that this year's Health Walk will take place on Saturday, August 1, beginning with free health screening at 7:00 a.m. Participants will assemble at Mantse Agbonaa before the walk starts at 10:00 a.m. and proceeds through major Ga communities, ending at Bannerman Road.
The event will conclude with games, entertainment and performances by popular Ga artistes.
Over the years, the Ga Homowo Health Walk has become one of the flagship events on the Homowo calendar, bringing together traditional leaders, residents, corporate organisations and visitors in a celebration that combines culture, health and community spirit.
Bills Micro Credit's latest sponsorship is expected to further enhance this year's event and reinforce the growing collaboration between the company and Team Okintinklan.
