  This might have been caused by illegal electricity connections which are common with students in the Dormitories to boil water and even to cook. I remember that we used to do that in the night at our Dormitories. That is dangerous because the Electricity Wires become overheated and can catch fire. Some schools have a Centralized System where Electricity supply is cut off, especially after 10PM. That should be enforced.
