Their way of living is described as CONTROLLED ANARCHY because they are difficult to civilize. The name Buem lends further credit to that assertion because the Akan saw them as people whose eyes can’t be opened. Their ancestral home is Togo but some are spread across the border with Ghana. Historically, the area was referred to as ASHANTI EAST OF THE VOLTA in European records until Ewes and a mixture of Adangbes incited them generally against Akans who were the ruling elite. It is a fact that the AKPOSSOR had no Chieftaincy System so the Akans instituted some order, which the Ayigbes have tried to destabilize. AKPOSSOR KUBI means child of Akpossor and that is the name given to their main town on the Ghana side. Akpossor itself is in Togo. When the British ransacked Kumasi in the Sagrenti War, the Togolese Akpossor and the combined forces of their Ewe Allies, taking advantage of Ashanti weakness at the time, ethnically massacred the Akans among them. Ask anyone from the area and they will confirm that some of their people have Akan names and most of the Chiefs still follows Akan Chieftaincy Traditions. The problem is incitement by the unpatriotic Ewes. Behind every treasonable act against Mother Ghana, an Ayigbe is behind it.

Besides I really don't think this is any problem at all they the Akposo-Kubi should no who own and who settle on their Land and bandries rather worries about correct spelling of their names. History have been said Ethnicity are name after those who arrived second to meet the original people, just as when the first Portuguese arrived in Edina (part of central region of Ghana) and they the Portuguese name the area in their language (Elmina) the mines , later the English Colonies name is Gold Coast that was it in our Elementary history. Guan's has been first settlers of current day Ghana long before the Ashantis and any other groups. The Volterians are the second to last to settle in both current southern Togo and southern East of current day Ghana, the last group were the Gas and the krobos thus we all became Ghanaians after British control all their theories after the first world war making Togo division western part became Volta region before independence. The Franch decided to leave the division as one country rather than add it to Benin, we all study this Basic history at school when our parents sent as to school and paid for our education. This has made us understand simple history and who we are. So my Volterians should never thinks they have any right of others in trans Volta Togoland. German's colonies western And Eastern Togo after the fall of the Nazi any theorist of Garman's was shared among the British and french alias. Volterians should get the fact rights. Should have it not been so there no way Volterians will have majority in any of leadership if it was one country under the Germans.

Present your case in a simple way, for us to understand what is going on.
To the best of my knowledge, Akporsor people are Ghanaians.
Hence Akporsor - Kubi.
Kubi (an Akan name), being their leader, who crossed the Volta River and settled at the other bank, while running away from war (Guan).
While in that settlement, a group among them decided to explore the area, and the result was that they found a new land more accommodative, and decided to make that place, a second home.
Hence, Akporsor - Badu.
Badu ( an Akan name, being their leader )
Initially, both settlements were in Togo.
However, after World War 2, which saw the partitioning of Togoland,
Kubi went to the British side ( now Ghana) and Badu, to the French side (Togo).
In other words, the Trans Volta Togo and the Togo boundary, had separated them.
A careful analysis, will show that, the movement was from West to East and not from East to West.
Kubi and Badu are still relatives and speak the same language, only separated by a line called, boundary.
In conclution, the people of Akporsor - Kubi are Ghanaians.
But the fact that, the British and the French seized Togoland with force, and shared it among themselves, Akporsor- Badu, is now in Togo.
The ORIGIN of Akporsor -Kubi people, at a present day, can never be linked with Togo.

Ogyamante is a Buem from Guama. The Buem people then call AKPOSO ku be bi, which means AKPOSO and the children. That's where the name KUBI came from.
