  I see this tour as a waste in the sense that money spent on this tour could have provided furniture for a school where the pupils sit on concrete blocks or lying on their bellies on bare floors etc. There's a whole ministry headed by a minister so why this tour by parliamentary sub committee on education? Is the MoE and the sector minister don't know the problems facing the ministry unless MPs tour schools? Oh Ghana we need set our priorities right and stop beating about the bush all the time. Every Ghanaian can list problems in schools from kg to shs, Students, parents/guardians, teachers, non teaching staff and ordinary man on the streets of Ghana know. I describe this tour as financial loss to the state.

  Time to cancel Nursing training allowance, teacher training allowance and the fee tertiary education to any level northerners are enjoying. Nkrumah instituted that because they were the least educated amongst Ghanaians . Currently they are so educated that they ruled and control Ghana. The government should institute a loan scheme for all tertiary students including northerners , teachers and nurses
