Why do we keep on pushing such tribal sentiments instead of keeping leaders in check to ensure developmental drives?
There are several institutions and agencies in Mampong contributing to the development of the area. How many of such agencies have indigenes from Mampong as heads?
The current MCE nominee for all you know was born and bred there. He qualified to stand as parliamentary candidate and if he had won would have been the member of parliament for the area.
There are several Ghanaians out there in the diaspora serving in diverse leadership positions. Should people within such countries serve notices that they don’t want them?
What at all is the interests of the traditional leaders? Is it the case that they want their puppet to lead so they can manipulate the person or what?
The traditional leaders should rise above such petty sentiments

I think the chiefs have a case of past MCE who had a tribal issue and was against the indigenes, but i think this present an opportunity for the matter to be resolve and not to stoke fire. Once these guys are settlers and were treated as outsiders they will group and have a political color which will be in opposition to what the natives prefer. Is becoming like the KUSASI & MAMPRUSI issue. But as it seems NDC is in power and the chiefs can only compromise and deliberate on development lines rather than dictate as to who becomes MCE. BIBI Bright who is a GADANGBE was rejected by the Tema Chiefs because she's not a native of TEMA.
