This is really really pitiful and sad. Deaths on our roads have reached an epidemic level and we have become helpless at the level of carnage. The lack of basic supervisory discipline coupled with the lack of - and bad infrastructure at the governance level in the roads sector in particular, is the root cause of all this needless death. The entire society is besieged by indiscipline of terrorist magnitude that threatens to devour sanity in all sectors of the society. In the once revered House of Parliament, "law-makers" - so-called, now openly resort to vandalism and stark defiance of the rules and the authority of the House to vent their spleen on the disagreement of issues in full view of the media and subsequently to the general public and painfully, to our children in our homes.

I have no doubt about the sincerity of the current President to take the necessary bold moves to transform this country - including the road sector, to the long awaited level of meaningful development and civility but, very clearly, it will be an uphill task that will demand the total undivided support and commitment - firstly from the people he himself has chosen to work with and the public at large. I think President Mahama, to all extents and purposes, is a good man and while he continues to meander his way through the stormy path that is strewn with deceit, evil obstacles and sheer mischief, the right-thinking and good people of this country must continue to encourage him from slipping into the abyss of despair and infamy.

Does the rest of Ghana know that his 9th or tenth wife was chosen from the Obogu branch some two or three years ago?
Does the rest of Ghana know that the sect believes that his children are angels?
Does the rest of Ghana know that members of the sect from Obogu and elsewhere regularly travel to Oseam with cutlasses to work on his farm?
Does the rest of Ghana know that during our national elections, the whole sect votes as directed by the leader?
