  The main reason the airplane body isn't made of the same incredibly strong, heavy materials as a black box is because it would make the plane too heavy to fly. While black boxes are designed to withstand extreme impacts and heat, the weight of that material would make it impossible to lift the plane into the air.

  Strange that the actual owner of the helicopter didn't own up and claim it as theirs. So, we know that it doesn't belong to VRA.

  Surely we should know the aircraft flying in our airspace, shouldn't we? Dont they register a flight plan. Dont they have a call ID. Just asking.
  Or are we not supposed to know the owner.
