Nonsense.
We need to be careful of this story. It could be the view of some few greedy elements in the village and a foolish journalist.
These people have no shame at all. But the government too, not in the form of money, a little message of 'thanks' during the funeral speeches or right after would have solved this. Wisdom is not sold.
Well said. Not only money but some statement of recognition would do some good as well as engagement by some psychologist
Mr government buy them one helicopter, okay!
Our people have become so wicked and entitled that everybody wants to gain something from a national tragedy! The scums are not even ashamed to go public with this!!
Ask John Mahama and members of his Government if they got nothing for themselves. These people should have long ago been acknowledged in public and even rewarded. How many of these helpers are employed? They could have been e ...

Where is our conscience, humanity and patriotism as a people. Can't we remain humane for once?
The government should go build a VIP toilet facility and add some borehole for them. But shouldn't give them physical money.
This is a call in the right direction
This call is not in right direction bro, if anything at all since u called itself a unity committee u should channel this information through ur Assemblynam to ur mp in the are for a redress not in public .
Nonsense. People are grieving and you are talking of appreciation
Patriotism is lost on him. Everything we do for the state must be rewarded. Sad, and this is the Assemblyman.
They need to be recognised and appreciate for what they did. Even with some rewards will be better.
This is a genuine call by the local residents who actively involved in the rescue of the victims of the helicopter crash to be rewarded. At least, we should give them them something to buy soap.
May their souls rest in peace

The District Assembly should build something they will need and will benefit the whole village. I think they need a psychologist too.
This is a no-brainer. It should have been done, right from the start. They did so, well in making the efforts of the soldiers and emergency services personnel easier, since they knew the terrain better.
It's a sign of ungratefulness and lack of appreciation on the part of the state (represented by the government) to seem to forget their sacrifice and unflinching assistance after the unfortunate accident. A review of speeches ...
