I sympathize with the few non-tribalist Ewes we have in this country. Where are the trade unions, civil societies, and the many other groups, mostly led by Ewes, the Frankline Cudjoes, the Vormewors, the Mensa Thompsons, the Kabonu, and many others? Where is Domelevo, Tsatsu Tsikata? Where are the very people who were able to insult President Kuffour, the Huntor, and other Ewes? Today, the Attorney General spoke of the worst situation of the galamsay. Where is his deputy, Srem Sai? Many see what I see, but cannot express it. Go to the UCC campus and you will understand my pain. Who sacked the Chief Justice with Mahama? Weren't they the same Ewes led by Tsatsu Tsikata and Domelevo? These same people took the judges and an army officer and killed them.

The VC must know that in Ghanaian universities, the academic year ends on 30th September. All staff members who are 60 years by the 30th of September must retire. The VC must therefore retire and apply for a post retirement contract if he still wants to work with the university. However, by GTEC's regulations professors who are on post retirement contract cannot hold any positions unless approval is given by the GTEC, under special circumstances.

The retirement age needs to be changed to 65 years because Ghana is losing too many seasoned employees at a very early age to retirement. The age of 60 is too young to retire, taking away lots of experienced minds that can still benefit the country in so many ways. Laws are necessary to maintain order in society, but society can benefit more when it revisits laws from time to time to determine if some of those laws need to be amended or done away with.
