I don’t think the banning of khebab in the whole township is fair and not the best solution to the problem; stealing is a crime and needs to solve as such by law not the chief temporary banning it .If that’s the case then ...

Does this chief have power to ban the sale of any meat?

  • Hmmm moment 2 months ago

Chiefs behaving like colonial masters, shutting markets & imposing curfews as if we still live in the 1800s. Meanwhile the real thieves & predators walk free. Jail the money launderers, not the market women

  • Kweku Tsin 2 months ago

Not every chichinga seller steels goat. Keep an eye on your livestock and report issues to police to prosecute. People can also steel goat and sell it to chop bars/ restaurants. Will you shut them down too.?

  • Jeff 2 months ago

@Hunts Mann; I got your point but the thief doesn’t need to get caught to solve the problem.. as well as the temporary ban will not stop the crime for good. Let the law enforcement agencies do their job and bring the bad gu ...

So the next time the chief hears people steal the pepper they sprinkle on the khebab, he'll ban sale of pepper? The chief should rather give handsome rewards to those who apprehend goat thieves or thieves in general.

  • Koti 2 months ago

Will the chief accept it if ECG says there's power theft at Damongo therefore they are going to disconnect power to that area?

  • Tolon 2 months ago
