No need to rush in giving them punitive punishment, let them give us their capo (employer) first.Then give each one of them 50yrs prison sentence with hard labour without the chance to get any pardon in future.
The churches and mosques are not helping. Hardly does one hear pastors and imams preaching against galamsey. Don't these people doing galamsey attend their churches?

There's no point sending them to prison. What the government can do is to give each of them 50 lashes of cane at back then send them to custody for period of one month.
