If possible Nana, issue a directive for the suspension of all small scale mining on all Asanteman land for some period.You can use that period to address this concern.

All lands except for Asante that per the dictates confederation, each omanhene maintains his land under him. So Mampong lands are for Mamponhene not Asantehene. This is how land sharing is done even if it's family land. The land is divided into three when selling, a percentage for the immediate chief under whose jurisdiction the land is, a percentage for the Paramouncy and the family takes the rest. The allodial owners of lands are not families but the paramouncies per the Akan tradition.

Bought the land in 2015 from the Mamponten stool authority. But there was no substantive chief in Mamponten. The traditional house gave us a temporary document to be ratified upon the installation of a chief. Now, another chief in a nearby village which I have forgotten is claiming the land. The new Mamponten chief also says it's his land. But he's a very reasonable man. He doesn't disturb us. But the other chief is always threatening us with landguards.. All of us behind Kofi Adjei SHS are in this trouble..
