Great move for Ghana
The army is there to fight for Ghana so using them to fight poverty or lack of infrastructure in the country makes sense. Toare Ibrahim is a soldier and he knows that the army can fight poverty.
Civilians just talk big and ...

Many roads and bridges in the country were built by the military, so there's nothing wrong if they build a road.
Yes, you are right. I remember the GAF used by Kutu Acheampong to construct roads, built bridges and even schools. They even helped local communities in building Places of Convenience at the time of Kutu and Rawlings. Those w ...

Waste of public funds, wat abt the existing Road?
Enemy of progress. Naysayer
So now what about the same road projects started during the previous government? I was told it has been abandoned. If it's true then something must be wrong with this current government.
Who told you the existing projects have been abandoned? So why are Ghanaians so backward looking? The government has consistently said all existing projects will be continued alongside this life changing expressway which is ...

Stupid liar called Kelvin. You just said someone told you that the project has been abandoned. Why are you now saying you live by the roadside and know it has been abandoned. Double tongue of a lying fool
Who is a liar? I have a house near the location in eastern region where the NPP government started the road constructions. I was informed by my tenants. I don't live there.
@Adwoa Tsetseba
In fact I won't return those insults to you at least I just returned from church.

What's he lying about? The existing Accra-Kumasi dual bypasses have been completely abandoned. I used the road few days ago.
Kelvin, you are right. Those guys are politically-confused Ghanaians
Your comments do not make sense. Add something worthwhile and stop the against.
If the previous government and Ofori Atta had not stolen and squandered the money, those projects will be complete.
Why not complete the ongoing road projects before starting a new one? Already the government is not having enough funds these numerous work.

Yes l agree.
It's called modernization. Are you living in a hole? Transportation is a major part of industrialization. We learned that in secondary school.
Have you heard of the Tema motorway? The Beach Road was there but the Motorway was done. There should be progress.
Very good example. Plus the harbours too and Kumasi international airport.

Naysayers. Enemies of progress.
God bless mahama. It should be all hands on deck. The npp should support the project wholeheartedly and extend it a bit further whenever they get the chance. Ghana deserves better.
It would be better to complete the old road and invest this money into the railroad sector from Accra to kumasi
@KK in fact you are one of the few wise people remaining in this world. Some people don't want to criticize the government because they call themselves supporters but I call them hypocrites.
After those stolen monies return,we shall build the railway
We have been hearing about this since l was born
There is no doubt about it. President Mahama is Dr Kwame Nkrumah N0. 2.
Why not consider rail transport
Rail is expensive, very expensive.
