I think the greatest disservice Dr Kwame Nkrumah did to Ghana immediately after declaring independence was not banning chieftancy. I think we're all observing the troubles they are causing the country now. When other countries are planning for the next fifty years, we are here fighting over wooden stools, pouring libations and slaughtering sheep.
