  Mr Commissioner, inasmuch as I sympathise with you about the indiscriminate killing of your staff on patrol duty, let me remind you that your calling on the state to arm your staff in the forest is not the best solution to your problem. You need a total overhaul of the entire system of operations especially on the kind of training you give to them and whether the training is in line with the current trend of encounters they have with the public. Arming your staff will not end killings in the forest but how your staff treat the poachers is what matters most.
