Four people have died in a tragic accident at Kinkinlin
Four people, including a pregnant woman and her daughter, have reportedly died in a tragic accident in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region.
According to a report by citinewsroom, the incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
The report further stated that the accident involved a Sinotruk HOWO tipper truck with registration number GB-2359-20, which allegedly veered off its lane, crossed onto the opposite side of the road and knocked down a group of women and girls who were walking to their farms to pick shea nuts.

The incident reportedly occurred at Kinkinlin, near Makango.
According to eyewitnesses, five people were hit in the accident. Four died instantly at the scene, while one survivor sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the Salaga Government Hospital before being referred to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
The deceased reportedly included a pregnant woman and her daughter, as well as another woman and her daughter, plunging the Kinkinlin community into mourning.
